currently there are a number of major problems with BC2.... all of which will probably be fixed within one week

- the primary problem is that today it had 400% of the max peak simultaneous players EVER for Battlefield...(holy cow... 4 TIMES the number of players ever) so they are adding a buncha servers etc. and that doesn't go smooth.. it'll take days more to work that out... it looks like MW2 play is down significantly so a LOT of users are switching
- Punkbuster kicks are related to the load
- Hardcore is busted.... it will switch back to non-hardcore after one map change... we can reset it... but a pain to say the least
- servers will randomly disconnect / dump the entire player list... server stays up, just kicks everyone

temporary fix: turned off punkbuster to circumvent the kicks and got hardcore to stick
