the early early review:
good
- weapons are really balanced well in single player and hardcore.... regular multiplayer takes an entire clip to kill someone
- single player storyline is interesting with lots of breaks for cinematic cutscenes... animation is top notch... best ever... haven't seen much of the story yet, but it seems to be developing good
- sounds are crazy good... great headset game
- controls take some getting used to, no prone, unlimited sprint take a bit of adjustment, but they are highly configurable
bad
- in game browser is a little jacked up and slow as I guess the list servers are extra busy
- steam downloads didnt start till 1pm et but no biggie
- I did have one crash today, but it was pretty much metrying to do something unusual
one note: Nvidia released an updated driver today that includes fixes specific to BC2 so update your driver from www.nvidia.com |

We all know the game become avalible today in the U.S. What i just cant understand how people can make threads about bugs that havent been fixed or just littarly complaining about stupid things. Be happy that you got the game. You will have to wait atleast until march 4th when the game releases in europe & sweden where the game was made. Dont expect any support at all until march 4. They have already stated that a patch will come just a/or2 days after launch. The launch date they are talking about is the 4th so i'm just saying 80% of the things people bring up here is already fixed in that upcoming patch.
Statement from BC2 forums... |

the one thing i dont care for about hardcore is on large maps like these its hard to move around from one part to the other or even cross any open area because you get taken down easy. it also makes some of the weapons seem way overpowered and has made my samurai sword useless as i cant get in close enough anymore.
this game kicks ass!!! |

I just missed my chair and am struggling to stand up as Marine comes out of the woodwork with a typically snappy yet homo like response!
welcome back Marine! |
